PTC Crypto is an early stage venture fund launched in 2021 that invests in the decentralized Creator Economy. It is the first fund to focus on the cross-section of crypto and the Creator Economy. PTC Crypto bridges crypto native relationships and thought leadership, and mainstream cultural icons making for the best go to market partner in the space. PTC Crypto is partnered with Palm Tree Crew Holdings, a diversified holding company founded in 2020 by Kyrre Gørvell-Dahl (Kygo) and Myles Shear.

PTC Crypto’s Managing Partner is Brett Shear (aka BlockchainBrett), a long-time crypto native Founder out of ConsenSys and Fleek. Brett is a NFT Collector and Contributor to SeedClub, Songcamp, ForeFront, Gremlins, NoiseDAO, DavinciDAO, LeDAO and more. We have invested in leading crypto Creator Economy companies such as SuperRare, Sound, Royal, Gallery, GM, NFTnow, and Songcamp.

We’ve closed our first fund backed by leaders in the crypto and entertainment industries. We are looking to bring on our earliest hires to keep up with the pace of growth in the space.

PTC Crypto is early in its journey and is building off the foundation of expertise in the crypto Creator Economy and deep relationships and branding at the center of mainstream culture. Joining the team is an opportunity to grow quickly and take on responsibilities across all aspects of the fund.

The responsibilities.

• Source investment opportunities within our fund thesis via community involvement and further identifying emerging trends
• Diligence investment opportunities with detailed information on all aspects of the company; synthesize diligence into written investment memos with supporting recommendations
• Manage outstanding relationships with portfolio companies and potential new investments by leveraging PTC’s resources
• Develop a public persona within the community around a narrative relevant to PTC Crypto’s thesis
• Monitor current investment portfolio, manage relationships with our founders, track data/information, and communicate regularly with our admin service providers

The qualifications.

• 1-3 years experience in a venture role as an analyst or associate
• Native passion and understanding of the decentralized Creator Economy
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skill sets, and follow-through
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and work on tight deadlines
• Energetic and positive attitude
• Deeply optimistic conviction about the future of crypto Creator Economy
