PTC Crypto is an early-stage venture fund that launched in early 2021. We invest in the Crypto Creator Economy and are the first fund to focus on the cross-section of crypto and the Creator Economy. PTC Crypto bridges crypto-native relationships with mainstream cultural icons, making us the best go-to-market partner in the space.

Brett Shear manages PTC Crypto, which is in partnership with Palm Tree Crew Holdings, a diversified holding company founded in 2020 by Kyrre Gørvell-Dahl (Kygo) and Myles Shear. Our team has a deep understanding of the space and provides meaningful portfolio support. We work closely with founders to connect them with their highest priority go-to-market needs from the earliest stages through mainstream growth.

Thesis:

We believe that crypto offers significant improvements to the current creator economic model. Crypto enables audiences to value creators' content directly and changes the current landscape of web2 platforms that capture the majority of monetization value. We focus on sub-sectors that are fundamentally based on the principles of NFTs improving current business models. These sub-sectors include content NFT applications and protocols, community coordination and DAO infrastructure, web3 social, and NFT infrastructure.
